Well, just when I was wondering what else could go wrong, something came along to answer me.
First off, the dickhead from the morning before didn't leave like he was told, and I was thisclose to knocking him out and having him carried off the property.
Then my computer went 'kaput'
dead
toast
nadda, nothing...zero, zip, zilch
I think its either the video card, or the motherboard...
fortunatly, I have 2 computers
unfortunatly, this one I'm on will only boot with the 98se hard drive hooked up (I hate 98...I want my win2k dammit!!)
plus, everything I use is on there...this computer hasn't been online in over 2 years!! (lot of updates!) and I uninstalled OE (thinking I wouldn't need it) so now I can't even get my mail till that finishes downloading! *major pout*
so how was YOUR weekend??
T...you're the only person I've met who uses Win2k other than us! I hear everyone talking about 98 and XP, but I've been really satisfied with 2000. It's SOooooooo nice to know that we aren't alone.
My weekend turned out better than I expected. We walked a 5K fitness walk, and then Fred waited on me for the rest of the day! *G* If I had prepared better for the walk, I wouldn't have had as much foot trouble. My feet are doing better today, so it's back to the working world.
I hope you get the newer computer up and running. Just look at this as a chance to update the older one before it's too late to get the upgrades!
