well, here we are, another Sunday morning…
M is fast asleep, having worked 7-7 last night, and having to again tonight :cry
another week, more overtime :snore this shit is getting old FAST!
however I’m trying to remember that it will give me the extra I need to go see my kids :happydance
speaking of my kids, little dude had a birthday Friday!! time is going by way to quickly…he’s already 6 :sad…I cannot wait to see them in 11 days!!!! ( I see another countdown script on here in my immediate future :wink)
my other roomies are in their own place :walk_sad, I’m very happy for them, but damn I do miss them both!
I’m looking into changing this over to WP, I have it installed and setup, but all my little hacks and plugins I have here I need to figure out how to get on it…such as the RSS feeds, my own templates, etc…if I cannot do this, well, I just won’t be using it! :lol since my entire front page is pretty much nothing but ‘otherblog’ plugins and hacks, rebuilt with cron jobs (and mt-rebuild) and I really don’t have to do anything to it except add and remove as people come and go…can you tell I REALLY don’t want to change that? :rofl
I’ve been looking around to see if WP can give me something similar, but since it looks like I would have to install it seperately for everyone who wants to use it, instead of just using the one install I have now in MT, I don’t think I’m going to have alot of luck here…if anyone has any ideas on this, please let me know!

well, I’m not sure about what to do about template stuff…I was going to ask about it myself, but I’m liking the quickness of WP, and I think it’s a little easier on the eyes…looks more like you’re running stuff in word, you know? I like how the links are set up, but I was kind of disappointed that I wasn’t able to import my blogroll (I know there’s some patch or whatnot, but I didn’t want to mess around with it)…
but anyway, I like it so far…hey, if I see anything that can help you, I’ll let you know, ok?
actually, blogroll importing is easy. just get the opml file from blogrolling, and stick it in the field. then they’re imported. only trouble is, if you re-import it later on if you’ve updated it, it adds, not updates. that i’m not crazy for. but i agree with gina…wp is *much* faster. (and hackable!) and i did see something about multiple blogs using one install somewhere.
cal, I was reading that to, not sure how much hacking I would personally have to do though…right now I’d be happy getting one up and running the way I want to LOL
my main thing is, while I use blogrolling to a point,(only for those without rss feeds) I mostly use mt-rssfeed, to see when people have updated, so thats the feature I want to most take with me, not blogrolling…*sigh* decisions decisions…
not that there’s anything wrong with my MT, I just don’t care for the new policies with the new releases, and thats why I refuse to upgrade anymore and get rid of the version I have
