no, before you ask, I don’ t have it working the way I want to yet…but we’re not going there tonight! :errrr
tonight, I’m in to good a mood to even think about it…
I have the most awesome job…and reason number 5963+ why I think so
We get 50.00 gift cards to use in the restaurants we own here in Jax every month
My company has season tickets to the Jag’s games…every week (in order) someone gets 2 tickets (touchdown club) and a parking pass…this week was my week (yes, I know I’m not into football, but it will be my first NFL game!)
every year we’re ‘reviewed’. that just happened, and we were #1, so we all got gift cards to target for a job well done (it’s so nice to work someplace where they SHOW how much you’re appreciated!)
‘home life’ is going well…it’s funny, someone and I were talking about that today at work, I don’t think they quite understood our life here…but it works for us
nice, quiet, and drama free…that’s a very good thing!
we all support each other, help each other…if someone doesn’t feel like doing something (ie: cooking, cleaning the kitchen, etc…) chances are someone else will…and if not, that’s ok too. We all have our moments and we’re all OK with that.
If I had thought not very long ago, I would go from living alone (for the most part) to where I am now…I would have thought someone was crazy…
But now, I wouldn’t want it any other way! :biggrin
Yes that is me who HATES to do dishes. LOL But I can cook!
I agree T that more than most people don’t even have an area in there brain that will allow them to absorb the type of relationship we have here. But you know that is more than ok with me. I look back a year ago where we all were, and see just how far we have came, how many hurdles we have jumped or ran over, and how drama free life really is, and I know in my heart that it was meant for us to live together. We smile more day to day, we face the bad things together, we comfort each other in times of need, and we love like no one is watching! And it doesn’t matter if you are gay, straight, Chrstain, or Jew … how many other homes can you say that about?
But one thing I promise you, you can say it and we can live it here. OUR HOME!
Its always good when a group of people can come together for any reason to make things work. Those exanples you cite are, in my opinion, what makes a family.
The job situation there sounds oh so fab! Its always nice to “see” that you’re appreciated even if you’re TOLD that you are every day.
And a live football game is AWESOME
Glad you’re loving the job thing and that home life is sweet. Good for you! 🙂
