I did want to wish all of my friends (yes, and family) on here a Merry Christmas!
just because I’m a Scrooge this year is no reason not to at least do that….
I’m going to combine this with a little update, so if you want to know more, read on…if not, have a VERY Happy New Year! (yes, that would be the only holiday I’m really celebrating this year it seems :rofl)

The new job is going well…very hard, as in physically, I’m on my feet for 9+ hours a day most days. I can honestly say it’s much different now then when I was a teenager :lol to say the least
for one thing, I’m twice most of these kids age :uhoh3
I got my name tag yesterday…the ‘official’ one, with my name and “management” under it :rofl…I also took the test we’re required to take, and pass with 100% in order to continue working there…yes, I’m still employed :wink…I have to say, I felt a bit different after all that…and talking with the manager that is training me…more ‘official’ if you will.
I’m even a bit excited over the fact I could own my own store in 3 years, yes, that’s part of their program, they finance and will build a store for you in 3 years if you want to continue the program, and it’s 100% of the profits, instead of the 18% they pay you during that 3 year time frame. (which is still a very nice chunk of change!) I’m not certain this is what I want to do with my life,:crystal I’m actually pretty sure it’s NOT, (we want to own a bed & breakfast :biggrin) but it’s nice to know that option is there, and they do provide you with all the tools you need to make it happen.
So…Xmas this year is much different than I thought it would be…I did get a call from WhteTigr, (which was very nice, I’ve missed you so much gal!) and talked to Ran on-line a bit (I hope everything is going good for you gal, and I’ll remember not to listen to that song!) and my Uncle has called several times, he was supposed to be stopping by on his way through town, but they got a late start and I will see him on his way back home. My boys are having a great time at their Grandpa Bob’s (my father, and the Ex’s best friend…long story), and wonder of all wonders, my mother called me last night! :scared, nothing tremendous, but a very big surprise just the same…I hadn’t heard from her since I last posted about it…
So…last night we watched “the fellowship of the ring” and most of “the two towers”, today we’re going to watch the rest of that, and my brand spanking new “return of the king” (extended edition tyvm! :biglaugha) and hang out till she has to go to work :cry
And if you’ve read this far, I can get new years eve night off…if there are plans in the works, please let me know! Because we’re also closed new years day :wink
I love you all…I hope 2005 brings you all your hopes, dreams, and desires, I love you :kisses :1luvu

  1. Damn! I’m going to visit more frequently! I’m thrilled you have a job…and wonder just what the heck it is. I’m guessing food service. I would have gone back in the archives….but I know you’re working to keep the spammers out.
At any rate….we want to wish you Happy Holidays. I hope that you have a great time on New Year’s Eve!

  2. Well a very Happy New Year to you as well. Yes I may not have talked to you but I have been thinking about you. Because even though I am not there everyday you are still my best friend and I love you.
I am always here for you, pretty much the same way you are here for me.
    I love you.
