100 Day Reclaim – Day 1

So I’ve started reading a book that was recommended from a website that I signed up for a newsletter from ages ago and never unsubscribed from (niashanks.com if you’re interested) that recommends journaling (huge surprise, doesn’t everyone?) I have journals but I prefer them for more private matters, for this particular venture I thought I would dust this off and share the journey.

Why do you work out? Previously I would have said because I wanted to lose weight, that is not the case anymore…I still want to lose weight but I like the way I feel when I work out and really miss it when I don’t do it for a while.

What thoughts drive your actions, and how can you make them positive, empowering, and enjoyable? This year I’ve tried to stop arguing with people when paid a complement. I also try to find something about myself that I like, especially on days when it’s tough. I remind myself regularly how far I’ve come in such a short time, and how last year at this time being able to do things like bike 8 miles would have probably done me in a lot quicker LOL
