the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the Courage to change the things I can, and
The Wisdom to know the difference.
That rates up there as one of my all time favorite prayers, ahead of
God, please grant me patience, NOW!
It certainly would be nice to experience wisdom sometime in my life.....
I have this saying hung through out my house - I'm so failing in living it out - I have no patiences and most the time no understanding - I'm just a weak individual wadling through life wishing for a better one LOL
When I pray, I mostly pray for strength, courage and wisdom. Strength to face each day, wisdom to make my decisions, and courage to face the outcomes.
