No hope

There’s no hope for me. I’ve stooped to helping young men in the grocery store, now.

I was shopping. I had a small list, but it was spread across the entire store, so I was wending my way up and down the aisles. I kept passing this cute guy, who must have been all of 24 or 25, looking lost. Finally, about the fifth or sixth time, I asked him if I could help him find something. He was looking for pancake syrup, which is filed in a really quirky place in that store. I lead him to it…got profuse thanks, and I disappeared around the corner before someone could accuse me of robbing the cradle! *G* God, he had a GREAT smile!

...hang on, one post you is telling us to spend more time with our loved ones and the next post you are telling us that the supermarket is a cool place to pick up young, single men who have just left home and don't know where to buy pancake syrup???...me confused :^)...unless there is another use for pancake syrup that I don't know :^)....

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh.....PANCAKE SYRUP!!! That puts a new spin on "Stick it to ya!" And all this time I've been focusing on chocolate.....

Hey, it's good karma!

Thank God for kind people. I've been fortunate enough myself on many occasions to experience that type of kindness.

You go girl! I can see it now, hot, wet and sticky with pancake syrup!

Ok, let me get my male mind out of the gutter!
;-)))

...and there you go buffy...doctor's orders :^)...your excuse was, I was under medical advice...although I'm a bit surprised dr. d didn't recommend a fat-free product :^)....

hmpf! Name ONE fat free food item that's any fun!

fat free whipped cream is pretty good *G* not that I would know anything about that...

and I don't think syrup has fat, but is pretty high in sugar

Honey - all natural, comes in different flavors depending on what the bees fed on (clover, orange blossoms etc.) and with essential amino acids as a bonus.

I'm having trouble finding the melons.

HOOK, you sly dog! It's nice to see you back in the blog world! (melons......snort!)

I stand corrected, ladies. The whipped cream and honey would be fat free...but not much better for you. It's interesting, Bogie, that you mentioned the flavors. I had the opportunity to tell someone in my herb group that the taste of the honey was determined by the crop the bees visited. If there is more than one crop available, do the bees take a vote on which to visit?
