Yes, we voted. Dear Husband went during the work day, and I drove over to the polling place with my Mother. Like Wichi Dude, I probably should have posted this on Tuesday, but it was on my list of "......when I get back to the computer" subjects.
Mother was rather funny about the subject. There was NO thought of not voting, but she announced on Monday that we would have to go EARLY because she had to get back to see Johnny Depp on the Oprah show.
She was rather ticked when I announced that to the members of the exercise class. Tonight, she said that she didn't understand why people thought that someone who is 88 (or almost 88), shouldn't be interested in the opposite sex. I told her that I didn't understand it either. I was right there with her, watching Johnny Depp!
So....we've voted. Not everyone we voted for made it into office. You win some years.....and you loose some years.

I guess if he's that hot I should check to see who Johnny Depp is and what he looks like! The name is sort of familiar, but I surely can't come up with anything on him in my memory banks.

He is a chameleon of an actor. He takes the oddest roles, and is phenomenal. I'd seen him in several movies, and looked up his filmography. Almost all of the films are quirky, and off the beaten path.
Edward Scissorhands, Benny and Joon, Chocolate, Don Juan De Marco, and Pirates of the Caribbean are just five of perhaps 20-25 movies he's been in. I want to see the newest one, which is about the man who wrote "Peter Pan."
He's been named the sexiest man of the year, and doesn't understand why he's been chosen. He is embarrassed by the attention. He seems to be modest, and hardworking, and I love his movies. GO check him out!

Well, it seems that I've seen none of Mr Depp's movies so I guess there's no reason that I should recognize his name. Thanks for the info. (As you might gather, I see very few movies. I taped "The Godfather" last night--well, most of it anyway--so you can see that I'm a bit behind the power curve on that medium.)

I love the Johnny Depp movies that I have seen, especially Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean - he stole that movie!
