I received an incredible gift from a friend at Christmas. He sent me a box of chocolates from Aix en Provence, France.
The box alone is wonderful. It’s about 2.25″ high, 3.5″ wide and 6″ deep. There is a brass nameplate with my name inscribed on it. One side of the box has a quote from Balzac, in French, and the other side has a line drawing of Notre Dame. The box has a sliding top and when you open it, chocolates are layered in two covered trays.


You would not believe the incredible combinations. Praline with Piedmont Hazlenuts and Ivory Coast Milk Chocolate.
Sicilian Almonds coated with pistachio-flavored marzipan.
Valencia almonds roasted with lemon paste and coated with Venezuelan Dark Chocolate.
Hazelnut Gianduja with a raspberry filling and covered with nougatine and Dark Chocolate coating.
Pistachio ALmond paste with raspberry paste, coated with Ivory Coast Milk Chocolate.
There are 29……TWENTY NINE descriptions of the chocolates in this box. Just reading the descriptions is enough to give you an orgasm!
And wouldn’t you know…..my sister asked me to diet with her. Sis…..I can feel the temptation to wallow in chocolate winning.

  3. …what’s so special about having a box with your name on?…over here you can get buffy, calendars, buffy notebooks, buffy underpants…anything with your blummin’ name on it :^)…
