...we have rain!
It's been promised for several days, and never panned out. It was gray and the clouds promised rain this morning, but it didn't finally come until 1:30 or so. The air outside is COOL! I'd forgotten just how lovely air cooled by Mother Nature can feel. I'm tired of the need to be indoors most of the day just to deal with the heat. I'm ready for Fall!

We had a nice thunder and lightning show, along with massive wind. Unfortunately, the rain went around us (I hear it did rain in Hillsboro - a mere two miles away).

Bod...you can keep summer there for a bit. I've already sensed the change in the air. I know that Fall is a month off, but I'm ready. I love the cooler, drier air.
Bogie, isn't that disappointing?! I hate it when I can see it's raining on the other side of the road and I know we'll stay dry. This rain is a blessing. I hope it sets up the perennials and trees to make it through the winter.
