Please!

I'm longing for crocus blooms, balmy breezes, sunshine on my skin and the chance to burn my winter coat.

I want to see leaves starting to bud out, and the magnolia blooms start to swell.

I want to play in my gardens, and be able to hop in the car to run an errand without having to put on 15 pounds of specialized clothing!

I want to be able to ride my bike down the drive without bogging down in the mud.

I want to be able to serve salad as the main course for dinner.

I want to taste a tomato that doesn't taste like cardboard.

My apologies for whining publicly. Usually I can deal with the wait, but this year it just seems a bit more difficult. I'll keep my head down, and work at my sewing machine for the next week or so, and maybe there will be a change when I get back to the window.

Hi Buffy. At this time of year I long so much for all the things you are longing for. Body rubs, romance, even slow dancing and othe fun things have slipped way down the list. And although I had such a bumper crop of tomatoes last fall that I was very near swearing off tomatoes for life, what's heading my list? The longing for "a tomato that doesn't taste like cardboard!"

Joy:

What a great list of "wants." I want everything on your list too....especially the buds and blossoms, warm balmy breezes, sunshine on my skin, and no more dealing with winter paraphernalia.

(laughing) Roberta, I remember years like that, when there aren't enough neighbors to save us from a bumper crop. Put them in a plastic shopping bag, go to the library and accidently leave them on the counter when you walk out! *G* We'll have to put our minds together to think of other ways to find good homes for the "orphans."

Joy, I knew you'd understand! *S*

Adele:

I hope you have Spring by now. It came to us this week and everything is growing like mad and the crocuses are out, finally.
