Sis....I didn't realize that you had been at your school for TWELVE YEARS! Had I been pressed for a guess, I might have said seven or maybe eight. Where has the time gone? I know! It doesn't seem like it's been twelve years, but I know I don't have the energy I used to. . . and that may be part of my success. I spend more time listening and observing rather than reacting. (There IS wisdom in aging!) I don't put up with any more than I used to, but deliberateness in my responses make for better teaching, I've discovered.

So there IS a trade-off. We may not have the energy we had at 20, but we learn to use our time more wisely. You're a heck of a teacher. You do us proud!
