Those of you who read here know that my youngest sister has taken up blogging this year. You can visit her at Just My Opinion. Actually, I hope you'll go to visit, and wish her a Happy Birthday on Thursday, April 27.
We won't be together to celebrate, but I'll see her in a week, when she comes home for a family wedding. If I'm a GOOD sister.....I'll remember that I need to call to wish her a great day.

Thank you! I've had a lovely day so far. My fellow gym-rats sang to me this morning - quite well actually - which was then followed by a PA announcement from the desk at the Y to all.
When I arrived at work the black board was decorated and then later the kids had cake for me. Many of them signed cards and gave me gifts. My favorite was a collection of pictures that started in an impromptu fashion when the math teacher and I ended up with cake and frosting all over our faces. The kids printed the pictures putting captions on each, then tied it together and presented just before noon. I feel very loved today!
Ben and girls made a fine dinner of steak, baked potatoes and salad repleat with the requisite chocolate cake, single rose and gifts last night.
And, it didn't even rain today! (That's been the joke over the last 30 years . . . it usually rains on the 27th!)
