Mother's Day

My mother frequently talks about wanting a RED convertible. I've heard this story for years. Something small, bright red, and driven by a handsome man.

At exercise today the Dragon Lady asked if the weather didn't make you want to go driving in a convertible, and a sizable portion of the class said "NO!" But, Elegante Mother said yes.

The youngest member of the class had a suggestion for me. She asked why we didn't consider renting a red convertible to drive Mother to brunch on Mother's Day. What a fabulous idea! I'm going to talk it over with Dear Husband tonight and see if I can reserve one right away.

I need that woman to help me figure out what to get people for BDs and such - she sure came up with a winning idea there!

Bogie, I'll have to tell her that she has a business opportunity that she needs to pursue! I can't tell you how many times I've heard my mother talk about the little red convertible. Every time we are in the car, she's watching the cars around us and commenting on one's she likes, but I've never made the connection that I COULD provide her with a ride....at least briefly. Pat was right on the ball with her suggestion, and Dear Husband agreed to do it. Now, I just have to find a place where I can rent a RED convertible....

I'll let Pat know that she needs to get in contact with you! *G*
