More Good News

I'm happy to tell you that my niece has had her surgery for breast cancer, and everything seems to have gone well. Her tumor has been removed, and they've found that only the first lymph node had been affected. The advances in surgery are so incredible that the only sign of surgery will be a small dimple, where the tumor was removed.

It's been a difficult week, waiting for her to be able to proceed. I'm sure it was a hellish week for her. I don't deal with waiting well. My often joked-about prayer is "Dear Lord, please give me patience, NOW!" Well....SHE was patient. She coped, and she has come out of this well.

Buffy, that is such good news. Glad you shared it. I will not stop now. I will send more prayers your way for all good things. Your niece has been through much and so have you so I'm glad to know that brighter days are ahead.

Oh, what excellent news. So pleased things are looking up for her.

buffy:

Thank you, ladies. We were all very fortunate, my niece most of all. Roberta, thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

Susan:

What a relief! I am so glad things turned out so well!

I say the same prayer. I have always lacked patience.

Adele:

I'm releived to hear that things are going well for her. I hope that this continues.

Holly Peters:

Hi Buffy,
I just stumbled across your blog. I'm a quilter, living in Sandwich. I'm also the set designer for the production of Fiddler on the Roof. It was great to see that you enjoyed the show. Your lone star graphic is great!

I just wanted to say hello, and thank you for sharing your life with the world.

Holly

buffy:

Holly, what a small world it is! We probably have a friend in common....Diane...who played the gramma in the production. I bet you have great times working with that crew.

Thanks for the kind words about the graphic. Cop Car helped me save the file from EQ5 and send it to RedEagle1, who hosts my blog. She does all the hard work....installing and making it fit.

I'm delighted that you came to visit. Perhaps we'll get to meet one day.

buffy:

Susan, I knew we were kindred spirits! *S*

Adele, I so miss chatting with you. I need to check to see how well your finger/hand is healing. I'll try to write a note to you soon.
We hope for the best. I'll know more about chemo and radiation therapy once she has healed from the surgery. Take care of yourself, my friend!

Adele:

Buffy, I look forward to hearing from you. I'm aware that we've hardly spoken in weeks but have been aware of some of the things in your life that must take priority at the moent. So only write when you are able.

buffy:

Right away, Adele...it's been too long, and friendship should be nurtured.
