I have to apologize to readers who may have been confused. When I posted on January 1st, we had not been able to confirm the death of Dear Husband's oldest son through the hospital. Since then, DH has traveled to Florida and confirmed that his son died.

Thank you, Blue Witch. I was trying not to share the news at other blogs so that you could enjoy your New Year celebrations. I think the end of 2005 will be branded into my memory now, and so will all the lovely things that have been said about my step-son.
