Billy.....I'm ADDICTED!
The new computer has a game called "Spider Solitare." You know, I just hate it when we get a new computer. Each time they send more games. Each time I spend an inordinate amount of time playing games on the new computer, until I manage to get it out of my system.
My niece was here last night, and she saw the new computer. I blushed and said I was playing games, and her eyes lit up. "Spider Solitare, right??" She already knew about it. She has a new computer, too. "Wait until you start playing with more than one suit." That sent a shudder through me.
This all reminds me of an episode of Star Trek: Next Generation. Do you remember the "Parisi Squares"? I figure the writers of that episode must have seen the office workers sitting around playing games, and saw how insidious it was.
If you don't see me for the next month or so, I'll just be over here playing Spider Solitare....

When we upgraded my operating system, I too found Spider Solitaire. WichiDude asks me almost every night if it is time we go to Vegas. My normal response is, not unless you have plenty of money to lose!

And we don't. So, she is stuck in her little corner of our hovel clicking away. Remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results each time.

Billy! Stop that! I don't need to be lured any further into my addiction. I left free cell for a bit and went back to solitare. Then the spider solitare came along. Lucky for me I don't understand yet how it works with two decks!
Dudette, I can empathize. DH won't ask me about Vegas though. We were in Biloxi a couple of years ago, and they have casinos there on the Gulf Coast. DH would only let me play five nickels as we waited in line for dinner. BIG spender! I made $120 in Alaska on the one-armed bandit and decided it might be good to leave on a high! *G*
'Dude...I have to stay home so I can pay off my new computer! lol

That's one of my favorite games, Buffy. I play that like a fiend. Usually as soon as I put blogging to bed in the evening, I start a session of News-Watching on TV and Spider Solitaire or Scrabble on the computer.

Des...the PC came Monday afternoon, and we hooked it up to the cable modem today (Friday), at 1:00! The only thing I did all week on the new computer was play spider solitare! lol Be VERY careful....it's totally addictive. See....even Roberta plays it. And you know she just HAD to mention scrabble.....now I'll have to check into that, too. I'm going to have to find someone to lead the rest of my life so I can just sit here and play!

Anybody know where I can download JUST Spider Solitare? I don't want any free TRIALS; don't want any package deals of ump-teen different versions of solitare! I just want the original version, like Buffy's niece said, with the option of one or two suits.
