If you have been a reader here for any length of time, you'll know that one of my links is to Bogie's blog. I'm not sure where I found her blog, perhaps at Da Goddess, but I became a faithful reader soon after I started blogging. I noticed that she had a lot of comments from a reader named "CopCar," and then it became obvious that CopCar was related to Bogie. Eventually, I twigged to the fact that she is Bogie's mother.
I don't recall how we started chatting, but CopCar and I struck up an e-mail correspondence that has frequently amazed and always delighted me. I hope that somewhere in the future, I'll have the chance to meet her.
CopCar is married to HH, which stands for "HunkyHusband." Actually, I've heard so much about HH that I'd like to meet him, too!
It's with pleasure that I wish CopCar and HH a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, today!
CopCar, when you retire, you MUST take up blogging. I know that there are a lot of others who would enjoy the chance to read what you have to say. And, until you do, don't worry about the length of message you leave on my blog. I enjoy every word!

Awwww, Buffy. You say the sweetest things. I, too, am glad that Bogie "brought us together". It is one of the nicest of the zillion and one nice things that she and WS have done for me. The first thing I recall our exchanging e-mails on was the Foxfire book series. We'll meet one of these days and see if either you or I can stand the shock!

CopCar, I wondered if it was the Foxfire books that had started our correspondence. Come visit us on your way to help Bogie with the iris. We have a guest room waiting as long as you can stand the shock of meeting Buffy and her DH in person!
Bogie, I'll keep nagging her to blog. She's a natural, and would have a great following! Thanks for bringing us together.
