Man's Best Friends

The following post is an e-mail I received today. I have no idea who the editor is, but I want to thank them for amassing so many great quotes about dogs.

THE BEST THOUGHTS ABOUT BEST FRIENDS
============================
The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead
of his tongue. -- Anonymous

wonderful. -- Ann Landers

often continued in the next yard. -- Dave Barry

from a grocery store with the most amazing haul -- chicken, pork, half a
cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth! -- Anne Tyler

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax
and get used to the idea.
-- Robert A. Heinlein

N.B. Dear Husband's favorite quote is probably the one by Grouch Marx, and mine is the one by Heinlein.

Oh, I definetly agree with Heinlein. But I find it hard to argue Groucho's point.

I never really thought about it like Anne Tyler has. No wonder dogs look at us to lead them!

Andy Rooney has it right, sad statement on humanity. Dogs are terrific.

Being a dog lover myself ~ there isn't a statement posted I don't agree with ~ however ~ these two seem to sum it up completely!!!

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead
of his tongue. -- Anonymous

The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.
-- Andy Rooney

No truer words have ever been spoken!!!

Km:

Dog tastes like soap but I like dog, not soap - it tastes BADDER than ever.
