Rants

I'm just too placid. I have spent my last decade searching for a calmer life, one that doesn't require me to be shouting "JERK!!!" every ten minutes, and I seem to have found it. Of course, it requires spending a HUGE amount of time at home alone, but it can be done.

Actually, a little ranting, or even a little excitement in your life is a good thing. Occasionally I miss the camaraderie of fellow workers, or the bustle of traffic and then I remember the back stabbing, the road rage, and everything that goes with too many people trying to be in one spot at the same time, and I say a little prayer of thanks.

To brighten my life a little, I've been living vicariously, and you can, too. Go visit Stupid Angry Canajan and Altered Perceptions.

If you are rantless, or placid, let them bring you up to speed.

Working from home has made me feel less "in touch" as well. (Not my ass, however. THAT is getting larger, much to my chagrin.)

Thanks for the links. One of the reasons I'm addicted to blogging is it gives me the opportunity to see what I'm missing out there in the sakwee world.

And gloat. Sometimes, I do gloat.

Heh.

Skawee. I meant "skawee." Damnit.

(Laughing) I thought you had a new language I needed to learn! I'm the Typo Queen, so don't feel bad about it.

Even when I'm alone I'm yelling "idiot" and "stupid" every ten minutes (at least). It's terrible when I do such dopey stuff that even I have to yell at me!

Life's too short to rant all the time.

T-bone.....you're so mellow! It's probably a good thing. When you meet Jamie, you'll need all the mellow you can get to deal with the wackiness in her life. *G*

Dawn:

I agree too many people in too small of place. I really amaze myself at what the hell am I doing in Detroit. When I was 20, all I ever wanted was to live in CO on some mountain far far away from the chaos. Now my only goal is to get out of here and move back to Iowa.
