NCIS

I am a great lover of NCIS.  I watch both the original and NCIS-LA, but I really like the original.  For a long time I ran NCIS episodes while I pieced quilt tops.  Now, we have a new version of NCIS coming our way, based in New Orleans.  Scott Bakula is the main character.  I really enjoyed him in Quantum Leap and Enterprise.

I should surf because we know that NCIS New Orleans is going to be on Tuesday nights, but they aren’t saying what time.  I wonder if NCIS LA is going to continue, and if so, will it still be on Tuesday?  Would you leave NCIS in the 7:00 spot, followed by NOLA and then L.A.?  Or, would you start with NOLA, go to the original, and end with L.A.?  Can you see it: All NCIS! ALL the time!

I’ll be sewing up a storm when we get to reruns!

  1. Not being a fan of Scott Bakula, I’ll probably watch the new show once or twice. It’ll have to really wow me to woo me over, though.

Glad to read that you’re getting out and about. Sorry the restaurant wasn’t up to snuff.

    • OH, too bad, Cop Car. To each his own, I guess. Somehow I doubt that you watch enough TV to waste your time on something that isn’t really of interest to you.

The meal at the restaurant wasn’t bad, it was just that the experience could have been so much better. Would you tell the manager about it, if you had dined there?

      • Forgot to mention that I watch more TV now than in my whole life. You might be surprised.

        • Yes, actually, I WOULD BE! When we established our new account with Comcast, we opted for the two Basic Cable packages, and were disappointed to discover that among other things, the National Geographic Channels were not part of the basic packages. D.H. said he could do without it, given that we are downsizing, but we may end up switching to the digital package to get more science programs.

I can just see Car Car watching “Dynasty” and the Home Shopping Network! lolololol

          • Can’t you just see me grooving on “Dynasty”? Shudder at the thought. I do enjoy the nightly news on PBS (with Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff – and Shields & Brooks), “Call the Midwife”, and “Vicious”. Then…there’s “The Big Bang Theory”. I probably average a couple of hours/night.

What often happens is that I watch a few episodes of a program, see the formula being used, and lose interest.

          • (choking and waiving my hand in front of my face) No….no, I can’t quite see that, CC! lol We, too, like the PBS News Hour. I particularly like Brooks and Shields. One of my sisters and friends are talking about Charlie Rose, for more in-depth discussions, but I haven’t seen him yet. And, believe it or not, I have never seen “The Big Bang Theory,” but I’m not surprised that you watch it, just given the hook of the title.

  2. I am a big fan of all the NCIS shows, especially the original one with Gibbs. But I watch them all when I remember they are on. I’m going to make a chart and add it to my calendar so I don’t miss any of them. I also watch Criminal Minds and Longmire. lol looks like I pretty much have a one track mind.
