I’m WHAT???

I was visiting over at Bogie’s and found this quiz. I really think that I may be a long lost member of her extended family. She and I came up with the same results!
Take the quiz: “Which Random Irish Gaelic Phrase Are You? “

Ta mo bhriste tri thine
Ta mo bhriste tri thine – ‘My trousers are on fire.’You’re a few bricks short of a load, aren’t you? You’re probably not allowed to use sharp objects and you should be locked in a rubber room. With Rubber rats. Rubber rats? I hate rubber rats. They drive me crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They put me in a rubber room. With rubber rats. Rubber rats? I hate rubber rats…
Of course, once you read what she had to say about it, you’ll be shaking your head, wondering why I would want to identify with a crazy woman. (Could it be….her sense of humor???)

  1. Well, the bad news for you and Bogie is that I, too, am crazy. Is anyone sure that another outcome is possible?

  2. Have Dudette give it a try. Wait….that won’t proove anything. If she got the same answer it could mean that your entire family is crazy…..or the test is rigged.

  3. Bogie–Well, Wichi Dude’s crazy all right (but a nice sort of crazy–sorta like Billy?) and should have come up with the rubber rats. That he didn’t, is a puzzlement (as was his result on the Rocky Horror quiz!)
BTW: Quick family vote on adopting Buffy into our extended family. I vote yea. (She’s shown that she’s crazy enough!)

  4. You locked in a room with any rats be it rubber or otherwise I can’t see LOL ~ my results are as follows ~ Is maith liom bananai
Is maith liom bananai – ‘I like bananas.’You’re laid-back and you enjoy the simple things in life. Some might say you’re a little too laid-back. Just what is it you’re smoking, anyway?
    Me laid back HA!!!!

  5. Buffy, I could see you being locked in with “rubber BATS”. Most definitely.
Yeah, I’d vote you into the extended family. Though I’m only there by chance, I don’t know if I have a “full” vote on this one. But, I’d say, yes. You’re nutty enough.

  6. I know I’d fit right in…..I hang rubber bats in the entryway in October…..and I have a rubber rat for the kitchen counter. I’ll have to make sure they are out when Cop Car and HH visit!

  7. Wichi Dude has hung with us this long so he gets a full vote.
Buffy deserves being adopted if she’s crazy enough to let Cop Car visit her – LOL! I vote YES!

  8. All right Bogie & WD, if you young whippensnappers don’t quit trying to dominate the newest member of our family, I’ll have to bang your heads together. (But, you have a point, Bogie: Buffy is very crazy or very brave or both!) WD definitely gets a full vote. He’s a naturalized member of the family.

  9. Welcome, welcome, welcome to our family, Buffy, where we compete to see who will admit to being the craziest. You’ll find that it’s hard to find the exit, now that you’ve entered. Now we’ll have to figure out a whole new pecking order. Your advantage: you’re a good cook. Those who are good cooks are automatically highly rated in our family (after all, we have one pro in the family–HH’s sister)! Good to have you aboard.

  10. Thank you, thank you!
I’ll just take a seat in the back and prepare to laugh a lot. I don’t need to win the craziness race. I’ll be happy to be audience and occasionally whip something up in the kitchen.
I don’t suppose HH’s sister gives lessons, does she? And….I could use some tips on grilling fish and chicken. Any takers?

  11. HH’s sister used to do demos for Cuisinart (back when she had just gotten out of chef’s school), has had a cookbook published (plus articles in Gourmet, etc.), has had a TV series (none of which I’ve seen–before I had TV), and owns and operates a specialty bakery and a deli/carry-out store. She just started the deli about a year ago and is developing a split personality because the bakery and deli are several miles apart. She and I have an agreement: she doesn’t try to build airplanes and I don’t try to do gourmet cooking.

  12. What a talented lady! I’d feel a little schizophrenic…..whether to go to the deli, or the bakery…..the deli, or the bakery.
I think you and she have the best of agreements. I wouldn’t try to compete in either of those areas!
