C.C. ….. Frankie has made changes at Just My Opinion. I told her that some readers might have difficulty reading her blog, and she changed it for you. I know that the Lone Star background that used to be on my blog was a problem for some of you, so I shared that information with her. Maybe now you’ll be able to see what she’s up to.
Oh, Buffy, you and Frankie are the most! She has a gorgeous skyline on her blog and the text is easily readable. We did well to have adopted you into the Cop Car Clan. Do you think Frankie would be interested? She could raise the class of our clan even more than you’ve been able to do alone. (We needed a touch of class!)
Thank you.
Wow, Cop Car, a blended family! I want to be sure that you understand that she will whip us all in shape. Still game??
(Of course, I love her, you know, but I’m not teasing about being whipped into shape. If anyone could do it, SHE COULD! That Navy experience stands her in good stead.)
And….does this open the door to Dear Husband as well. You know his puns are dreadful!
You bring up a good point. It had not been explicitly state, before; but, I had assumed that your DH was in the family “by marriage”. By the same token, I should think that Frankie and your other sisters (and, obviously, your EM) are members of the family.
Does Frankie realize that she is behind in whipping her “by marriage” family into shape? I’m not sure that I like this since she outranked me by so much in the Navy. I was an E-6 and, if memory serves me well (which is a stretch!) she was on O-5 or O-6. She’ll have me saluting, won’t she?
OTOH, Frankie may not wish to be so intimately associated with us heathens!
What a way to start my Monday morning!! I’m grinning from ear to ear! I’m so honored to have been invited into such a sage group of bloggers . . . really I’m not all that demanding – though the science teacher is fond of telling our students that I’m a trained Navy Seal. It garners SO much respect . . . for awhile anyway!! Because of it, I’ve perfected “the look” which is particularly scary with a soft voice and a a slow smile afterwards. I’m sure it borders on unprofessionalism that I play with their minds so.
Dear Husband wants to know who is going to be the “Side Car.”
He’s stirring dinner (jambalaya) and trying to come up with some other puns along the car theme.
Cop Car….Frankie is going to fit right in, don’t ya think?? *G*
Please tell your DH that I’ve not been able to identify Side Car; but, Side Car is definitely male. He keeps swerving into my blogs sidebar.
As to Frankie’s fitting in…well, definitely!
