$2.329

YES!!! $2.329 is a far cry from the cost of a gallon of gas this summer. I think the place where I buy gas topped out at $3.159, and I know it was more expensive in Chicago. Yeah, I know that those of you who don’t live in this area are paying less than two dollars a gallon, but I doubt we’ll ever see that here.
Did I tell you that my youngest sis called one day just to tell me that she had driven past a sign for gas that read $1.999 a gallon? Mean, I tell you. She’s just plain mean!

  1. I know: It’s all her fault. (That’s what Dudette always said, too–which was probably right about 1/2 the time.) If the two of you weren’t so danged lovable, I’d disown the both of you. (Oh, yeah!)

  2. Oh, dear…..we reached the “dis-owning” stage pretty fast here…. (retrenching)
Oh, Bogie! You’re just SO lucky to have cheap gas! (rolling my eyes)

  3. Don’t worry Buffy – I was disowned a long time ago, so she must be bluffing.
Anyway, I was playing nice, no words were being used that had * or / or % or ^ in them (okeaym okeay, I did use ! – but Dudette made me).

  4. Bogie–You, too, are a sweet, dear thing. Thanks for not making me disown you once more. (I believe that Dudette made you do it–of course!)

  5. Whew! What a relief! Ya know…..Dudette’s getting quite the reputation here….
I am a middle child. I have three older siblings who are at least five years older than I, and Frankie is eight or nine years younger. I always wished I had someone to blame things on! Thanks, Dudette! *G*
Bogie…I’ll have to watch out for those symbols in the future! lol
