\nI was cleaning out my mail today and came across this, and realized I wanted to put it somewhere it wouldn’t get lost, as I usually try to do most of them but need a reminder often<\/strike> occasionally :smile…so here it is…
\nONE.
\nGive people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
\nTWO.
\nMarry a man\/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
\nTHREE.
\nDon’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
\nFOUR.
\nWhen you say, “I love you”, mean it.
\nFIVE.
\nWhen you say, “I’m sorry”, look the person in the eye.
\nSIX.
\nBe engaged at least six months before you get married. **note, I do not necessarily agree with this one!**
\nSEVEN.
\nBelieve in love at first sight.
\nEIGHT.
\nNever laugh at anyone’s dreams. People who don’t have dreams don’t have much.
\nNINE.
\nLove deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it’s the only way to live life completely.
\nTEN.
\nIn disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling.
\nELEVEN.
\nDon’t judge people by their relatives.
\nTWELVE.
\nTalk slowly but think quickly.
\nTHIRTEEN.
\nWhen someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer, smile and ask, “Why do you want to know?”
\nFOURTEEN.
\nRemember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
\nFIFTEEN.
\nSay “bless you” when you hear someone sneeze.
\nSIXTEEN.
\nWhen you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

\nRemember the three R’s:
\nRespect for self;
\nRespect for others;
\nResponsibility for all your actions.

\nDon’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

\nWhen you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

\nSmile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
