This is just WRONG!<\/a> :let_it_all_out
\nNow I understand that the DOMA<\/a> says that states don’t have to recognize gay marriages performed in another state, which I don’t believe is right either, if hetero couples get legally married in any state or country for that matter, their marriage is valid no matter where they go, the same benefit should apply for gay couples who are legally married!
\nSo in reading over this, it also ‘defines’ the word ‘spouse’ according to the federal government, ‘spouse’ is only used to define ‘one man and one woman’.
\nFirst thought that comes to mind is “then :wtf is W getting his panties in a wad trying to amend the constitution for?
\nSecond thought that comes to mind is these marriages are LEGAL, why can they not be recognized as such by the IRS?
\n“King George” seems to forget that what he is trying to do, and that the DOMA already in place, are, in fact, UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!
\nyes, that’s right, Amendment 14, Section 1<\/a> clearly states…<\/p>\n
