{"id":104,"date":"2003-03-09T08:22:34","date_gmt":"2003-03-09T08:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/?p=104"},"modified":"2003-03-09T08:22:34","modified_gmt":"2003-03-09T08:22:34","slug":"proud_mama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/proud_mama\/","title":{"rendered":"proud mama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>well this entry is a day later than I wanted to make it but I have to brag!<br \/>\nYesterday I got up early and went to the races, ok, the pinewood derby races :smile<br \/>\nyou see, my two older kiddo&#8217;s are in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scouting.org\/\">Cub Scouts<\/a> and yesterday was the area race, last year <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/image_24999834_1.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/image_24999834_1.html', 'popup', 'width=330,height=220,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\">my oldest<\/a> (he&#8217;s the one waving on the back) went and although he didn&#8217;t win a race, he did take first place in craftsmanship, which is an &#8216;overall&#8217; award, not just their age group.<br \/>\nwell, I&#8217;m sorry to say this year he did not win a race again, however, his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/image_24999820_1.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/image_24999820_1.html', 'popup', 'width=330,height=220,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\">younger brother<\/a> (the one on the back) won his second race, (out of three, he didn&#8217;t place, but he had a great time!) and my oldest once again won first place in craftsmanship! :banana<br \/>\nat the local race (thursday night) my oldest took craftsmanship, and second place, while his younger brother smoked him! :biggrin and took first! (overall, they have a very small pack)<br \/>\nAnd I have to add this, before I quit boring everyone to tears here, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/image_24999735_1.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/blog\/image_24999735_1.html', 'popup', 'width=330,height=220,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"> &#8220;little dude&#8221;<\/a> got to make a car also! and they let him race at the local meeting before the &#8216;official&#8217; ones started, against his brothers :smile<br \/>\nguess who won? :biglaugha<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>well this entry is a day later than I wanted to make it but I have to brag!
