Troglodyte……
\nThe ape driving the car next to mine had the development of a troglodyte when it came to rules of the road.
\nI am frequently astonished what they let get behind the wheel of a multi-ton vehicle. More and more I’m seeing people who do what pleases them, rather than following the laws that have been set down for all. One of the best places to watch for offenders is in the parking lot of major chain stores.<\/p>\n
\nSince the offenders are on private property, they feel that they can do as they please, regardless of the safety of those around them. Totally ignoring stop signs is so common that a pedestrian risks his life trying to get into the store.
\nDriving the wrong way down an aisle is another frequent flaunt of the rules, as is parking in no parking zones. Failing to give pedestrians right of way, and parking in handicapped parking zones when you want to drop off your laundry, are two others.
\nI sat in my car yesterday, waiting for my mother, for all of five minutes, and saw all of that. Had I been there longer, I’m sure I could have found an entire race of troglodytes in cars! It makes me want to run around shouting “Citizen’s Arrest! Citizen’s Arrest!”
