Actually, that’s a teaser. There aren’t a lot of woods in North Central Illinois.
\nElegant Mother has packed up and gone to visit her youngest daughter for a couple of days. I went off to exercise yesterday while she was packing her bags, and came home to find her ready to be off!<\/p>\n
\nYoungest Sister drove up to collect her Godmother and Elegant Mother, and we all had lunch together before they left for Indiana. The ladies will have two days of travel and two days of visits.
\nFairy Godmother is a sprightly lady in her eighties (I believe), who has not had the chance to visit with either my sister or my mother, in quite a long time. FG still has a quirky sense of humor and incredible love of life. She’s a very vital lady.
\nWhen we parted after lunch, she was installed in the front passenger seat of my sister’s car. Normally, that seat goes to the navigator, but in her case, I think we’ll say she was “riding shotgun!”
\nI volunteered to meet them at the Illinois\/Indiana border at noon on Saturday, to bring EM and FG home. I suspect that three days with the two of them will be similar to a decaf drinker having a double shot of espresso!
