We all have them to one extent or another. I have a list of them which is growing by leaps and bounds. Last year, when DH’s daughter was getting married, and we thought wedding guests would be visiting between the wedding and the reception, I had a three page, double spaced list of Mine, His and OUR chores.
\nAbout two-thirds of the chores got done. Now, I’ve started another list.<\/p>\n
\n1. Entice the raccoons out of the attic, and close up their entry.
\nA. Clean and paint the soffit and fascia
\nB. Clean the brick sidewalk below their entrance
\nC. Repair the vents in the garage soffit
\nD. Blow insullation into the attic to replace what the raccoons removed
\n2. Replace the faucet and sprayer at the kitchen sink
\n3. Replace the shower head and the handle in the Master Bath shower
\n4. Find the leak and repair the guest bath toilet
\n5. Replace all the fluorescent light bulbs through out the house
\n6. Replace the door frame in the garage service door.
\n7. Replace the mailbox pillar.
\n8. Replace the weather stripping under the back door
\n9. Clean the basement and dispose of the trash!
\n10 Clean the garage and dispose of the trash!
\n11. Repaper the kitchen drawers and shelves
\n12. Clean out the mudroom pantry.
\n!3. Rewire Mother’s lamp
\n14. Weed, add compost, and mulch the gardens
\n15. Reorganize the storage in the living room
\n16 Add storage in the basement.
\n17. Reorganize the office files
\n18. Choose window coverings for the Living room windows.
\nThis doesn’t mention any of the day to day chores.
\nLet’s see…..which can I move over to DH’s side of the list…..
