Okay, I suppose that it’s not quite as exciting for you as it is for us, but DH’s daughter is going to have a girl! I get to make a pink quilt with “Winnie the Pooh” characters.
\nOnly Daughter will be having her baby in late May. She had the last ultrasound recently and they determined the baby is a girl. We got to see the video of the ultrasound! Isn’t it amazing what technology brings us now? We saw the baby’s fist, and feet. We saw her “yawn.” So kewl!<\/p>\n
\nI’ve been tickled at how intense Only Daughter is about this experience, but I totally understand. She sent an e-mail with a website for us all to visit that explains fetal development by week. I was sure she was planning on testing her brothers on it! They, of course, don’t want to hear all this detail, and are avoiding the pictures of the ultrasound like the plague.
\nAll that matters is that they will be doting uncles.
\nThe kids asked if we were disappointed that it was a girl, and both of us replied that we would be happy with whatever flavor she had. Just four more months……
