{"id":2303,"date":"2014-08-24T08:03:22","date_gmt":"2014-08-24T15:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/arrrgh\/?p=2303"},"modified":"2014-08-24T08:03:22","modified_gmt":"2014-08-24T15:03:22","slug":"mid-atlantic-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/arrrgh\/mid-atlantic-states\/","title":{"rendered":"Mid-Atlantic States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, as I was doing the Sunday crossword puzzle, the question arose as to which state was at the bottom edge of the Mid-Atlantic states. \u00a0We weren&#8217;t sure if it was North Carolina, or Virginia. \u00a0I went to Wikipedia for information.<\/p>\n<p>I was very surprised to find that New York, and West Virginia are included in the Mid-Atlantic states. \u00a0Personally I would have sent New York off with Connecticut, Rhode Island and the rest, and I see West Virginia as the lead to the Midwest.<\/p>\n<p>Then I read this paragraph:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #252525;\">&#8220;The Mid-Atlantic is a relatively affluent region of the nation, having 43 of the 100\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"mw-redirect\" style=\"color: #0b0080;\" title=\"Highest-income counties in the United States\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Highest-income_counties_in_the_United_States\">highest-income counties<\/a><span style=\"color: #252525;\">\u00a0in the nation based on\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"color: #0b0080;\" title=\"Median household income\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Median_household_income\">median household income<\/a><span style=\"color: #252525;\">\u00a0and 33 of the top 100 based on\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"color: #0b0080;\" title=\"Per capita income\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Per_capita_income\">per capita income<\/a><span style=\"color: #252525;\">.
