Tomorrow, Scraps on a Mission resumes, and it’s supposed to be one of the worst days of the winter. \u00a0I need to show the ladies what we have in terms of fabric, and suggest projects that they could make. \u00a0We need to cover the calendar, so they know the deadline for our season. \u00a0I’ve offered to make a pot of minestrone. \u00a0One of the ladies said she’d bring bread, another is bringing fruit. \u00a0If the weather is truly terrible, I’ll send them home after lunch, so that they don’t have to cope with dangerous roads. \u00a0My friend, Cop Car, is under this same storm, but there’s a blizzard warning over eastern Kansas, where we just have a winter storm advisory.<\/p>\n
Dear Husband had a good visit with the doc today \u00a0We missed the exercise breakfast so that we could keep the appointment. \u00a0We had a pleasant lunch at Panera, and then went on to do our grocery shopping at Caputo’s. \u00a0I was astonished that everything found places in the refrigerator and pantry \u00a0I’m \u00a0making soups for my quilt bee on Friday, so there were a lot more ingredients than usual in our shopping. \u00a0I’ll be making another pot of Minestrone, and one of Golden Cheddar Chowder. \u00a0I may make some appetizers, as well. \u00a0The ladies of the bee will bring all sorts of goodies including bread, an amazing salad and dessert to round out the meal. \u00a0“A good time was had by all” is our unofficial motto!<\/p>\n
