My youngest sister, Frankie, has just completed her first full week in school as a new assistant-principal. I talked with her very briefly, and had an e-mail from her, but it’s been very quiet in that part of the world.
\nYou have to know that she puts her all in to everything she does, and most of us who have taught know that the first week back is a killer, even when you think you are prepared for it.
\nI didn’t call her this afternoon for the details because I suspect she needs time to decompress, and I can talk with her this weekend. But, I’m eager to hear how things went.
\nI hope she keeps a journal, because there HAVE to be stories from this first week that she will want to visit in the distant future! *G*
