\nI love the Star Trek: Next Generation reruns, and I can live with an occasional James Bond movie, but there’s a new show called “Blind Date” that’s really irritating me.
\nTonight at seven in the evening, they ran an ad for that program that qualified for one of the porn channels. It showed men and women in a hot tub in a grotto…doing what most couples do in private. And, if the title of the show is correct, these people had just met.
\nDoes that mean that they hired prostitutes to play the female leads, or have the morals of the twenties generation deteriorated so much that they don’t think twice about being filmed while they have sex with strangers? Is the draw the possibility that they may be “discovered,” and that it will lead to a TV contract?
\nI just don’t understand why a woman would consider participating in one of these shows. I suppose I can see why a man might watch the program once, or perhaps twice. But I can’t understand why he would be a repeat viewer.
\nI should have expected sleaze like this from a station that touts “Striperella” and “Gary the Rat.” I’m really glad that the men in this house don’t tune in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
