{"id":156,"date":"2003-08-26T00:24:23","date_gmt":"2003-08-26T07:24:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/arrrgh\/skivvies\/"},"modified":"2003-08-26T00:24:23","modified_gmt":"2003-08-26T07:24:23","slug":"skivvies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.redeaglespirit.com\/arrrgh\/skivvies\/","title":{"rendered":"Skivvies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I thought I knew what was out there in terms of men&#8217;s skivvies, but I learned a little more this weekend.  &#8220;Q&#8221; in the Chicago Tribune this Sunday began it&#8217;s section on style with a discussion of Captain Underpants (Tuesday&#8217;s release: Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 1: The Night of the Nasty Nostril Nuggets), and moved right on to what men are chosing to wear these days.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n7,000 men responded to an online poll about their undie preferences.<br \/>\n30% of men prefer boxers.<br \/>\n31% prefer briefs.<br \/>\n21% prefer thongs.<br \/>\n10% perfer to wear nothing<br \/>\nand 45% say they would like to wear g-strings but never have.<br \/>\nLiars.<br \/>\nOr am I really that far out of the loop these days?  I was astounded that men would care to wear a thong, and the thought of a guy in a g-string blows me away! (no pun intended.)  I&#8217;m so used to a guy in tighty whities that I didn&#8217;t realize that there&#8217;s been a revolution in undies.<br \/>\nHow many of you recognize the brand name &#8220;Baskit&#8221;??  It seems they have created a style that&#8217;s perfect for a grown up Boy Scout. (You know&#8230;&#8230;Be Prepared.)  Their &#8220;Urban Underware&#8221; line has a built in condom pocket  below the waist.<br \/>\nI rather liked the look of the Paul Frank ribbed boxer briefs.
