I got the news today that my boat widowhood may come to an end during the middle of next week. Well….actually, the boat will be taken out of the water midweek. Then there will be weeks of maintenance on the boat. So, probably I’ll get to see Dear Husband on a weekend some time in late November!
Still, it’s always nice to know that the season is ending two weeks early. We’ll have to party the day he brings her up the drive.

Buffy, your husband has his boat. Mine has his music, model trains and now Interior Design. We are both grass widows in one way or another.
On the other hand think what they would be like without any passions to drive them.
Too True! I shudder to think what it’s like for women who have to entertain their husbands 24/7. I minded being a boat widow at first, but I’ve come to see the brighter side of it now. *S*
I’ve come to the conclusion that a hobby or two to be passionate about is important in any relationship.
