Christmas season 2003 has opened. Today I received my FIRST e-mail from Jamie trying to finagle some sugar crisp. Of course, she said Q14 (her son) needed them.

Sugar crisp are rather like a heavy danish pastry dough that is layered again and again with sugar. They are supposed to be twisted, but mine never want to stay twisted. Everyone seems to forgive me, though, because they taste so good.
I made some for Speedbump for his birthday a couple of years ago, and then I taught him and his grandmother how to make them, but I guess JET hasn’t conned him into making them for her. (sigh)
