I’m frequently astounded at the variety of what I read as I browse through the blogs. It occured to me that there should be a way to draw bits and pieces of them together into a short story.
Where does your mind go with this: rotten oranges (from a comment by T-bone), voyeurism and comic books (from Billy), a string trimmer (from WichiDude), and PMSing (from Jamie).
Welcome to the first Blog Pastiche: a short story free-for-all for bloggers. Take those four items and devise a few paragraphs incorporating them. You get extra credit if you can include ANYTHING from Silflay Hraka except beer.

…you missed the comics :^)…but I’m starting to think….hmmmm, I smell a challenge :^)…
…it’s 10 past 10 on friday night…I’ve put about 5 minutes thought into it..and so me story is here :^)….although I’d rather everyone clicked here first and then looked for “it was hot” – it helps with me stats :^)…
I’d like to play also, if that’s OK. But, it will be a while. My show comes on in a few and then to bed, so it might not be till tomorrow.
Damn, I’m horrible at this sort of thing, so won’t participate. However, I’m looking forward to reading everyone else’s entries!

…hmmm… I think there is a mention of a comicbook in the last section :^P…however, I’m not happy with the whole piece and wish I’d written in a more biblical style – with more ‘thee’s and ‘thou’s :^)…
