Discourse, Dialog, Diatribe, Disappointment
I had hoped when I started blogging that I would find that the blog world was slightly different from the other areas of the Internet that I have experienced. Recently, on one of the blogs that I read, I learned that things are the same all over the Internet.
I was disappointed to find that bloggers I read frequently have trashed another blogger who posted without any reference to them. Admittedly I don
I agree with you on this call ~ as you know I’ve been on the receiving end of the trashing ~ so now I just choose to ignore!!! And the way I feel about it is I have enough drama in my real life being a mother of two I don’t need to spend my time that I call enjoyment getting involved in school type squabbles ~ Lifts glass towards ya “cheers” to your blog and your post about events you read to remind people of their actions!!
I have seen too that kind of thing in the blog world a few times. It is disappointing to see, but people are people, there is a mix, and it seems that no matter where you go you’ll come across that kind of crap eventually.

sorry for the double. it really wasn’t that important a response.
Thanks, Jamie! I missed the flaming on your blog, and I’m not sure I want to go back to read it. I’m sorry you went through that, life is too short to waste that way.
Des….you are very right. People will be people.
I think I’ll just go on about my business….*S*
Oh…and Des….
I got my nerve up to post at Gut Rumbles one day, and was appalled to find that my insignificant little post had come through THREE times! (blushing) There are a couple of blogs that my computer interacts with badly, so I have great compassion on this issue! *G*
…errr…hello…’sweird to post on an entry about ‘flaming’ comments…but can I add…I love any comments (which is why I’m here)…it means that people read what you write and care…true they sometimes care in the wrong way but you have to be prepared for you words to spark a reaction…and if they are leaving a comment it means that they are moved by your writing…I realise that this was not what you were writing about (it was accreditation – which is just a load of twonk, thanks to the ‘net we all get our info from *so* many places that I can rarely credit someone with starting it) but I hope what I’ve said makes some sense…
…hello, I’m billy…and yeah (begrudgingly) I *have* to like cats – me wife and kids make me :^)…
Hey, billy, thanks for dropping by! We have one irascible black cat, named Edward Scissorhands, an American shorthair who must have some Siamese in him. My hubby says that when Ed goes, that’s the last of the cats, but we’ll have to see about that. *G*
There have been very few of my adult years where I didn’t have at least one cat for company. I’ll save stories about Defer the Dog for another day.
…I’m with your husband on this one…but I get the feeling you are going to go the way of my wife – and within a couple of months I reckon that we are going to have at least two more kittens…
