A bit of a change

With all the other changes taking place right now, it only seemed fitting that the wedding plans had changed also. :lol
Originally, we had planned on having a 'pre-wedding party' at M's mom's house, then a trip to the beach for the ceremony, then returning to 'mom's' for the reception.
Now, we're planning on having a small 'before party' at 'mom's' (for relatives and such) then the ceremony and reception here at our house (that sounds so cool, 'our' house :biggrin)
It's still going to be beach themed, my wife-to-be still swears she's wearing a sea-shell thong and pasties :rofl, however, we're going to bring the beach to us instead of the other way around.
The thought is (courtesy of Ran) having a 'runner' covered in sand, with seashells, etc...along the sides of it, tikki torches outside of that, for us to walk down...we have a 'grove' of bamboo in the backyard, which we're going to have trimmed/shaped, probably with some hanging shells, flowers, etc...on it, and an archway underneath.
So the only real issue now is finding someone to officiate it...we don't want a religious ceremony, and unfortunately in Jacksonville it's a bit difficult to find someone who's not to do it...any suggestions would be welcomed!

and on that note, back to unpacking boxes :scared

Hehe, you know da Ran got your back darling. I love you and M, one of the goals that I have set for myself is to make sure that your day is just as beautiful as you and the love you have for your future wife. And come hell or high water I will make sure you get that, because you and M my friend deserve it.

hey a suggestion on the officiate. why not have a friend or relative get one of those free minister lic you see online..that way they would be official but make the ceremony the way you want.
