Funniest quote heard in a long time

Drew Carey from The Drew Carey Show:
"So you hate your job? There's a support group for that, it's called 'everybody' and they meet at the bar."

Well, it would be funnier if I had a job.

That makes me feel better about my boss leaving my desk a few a minutes ago after hacing lecture me for close to fifteen minutes on how best to reduce my use of paper clips.

Several years ago I was complaining to my son about work, and he said to me, "That's why they call it work, Mother. If it was fun, they'd call it "fun".

That says it all!

Mudbone said this before there was a T-Bone, or at least his blog:

“Lived through hard times before, people talkin’ ’bout these is hard times. Hard times was waaaay back, and it was… they didn’t even have a year for it, just called it ‘hard times.’ It was dark ALL the time. I think the sun came out on Wednesday…. So I happened to be out there one Wednesday, and the sun hit me right in the face, and I grabbed a bunch of it - rubbed it all over myself. Cuz… I ain’t have nothin’ else. Said… I might as well have some sun on my face.’ And, as time went on, I remembered it was Thursday… You better have some fun, and plenty of it….

So all I can say is, keep some sunshine on yo’ face.”

Can't get better advice than that, huh?

hey, I lost my job this week. It seems like lately, the support group at the bar is made of people without jobs, more than people that hate their jobs.....
