I bet many people who decorate their homes for the holidays have a similar experience of the process:
1. Unpack boxes of decorations and fake tree from wherever (ours were in the garage in a nook under the stairs).
2. Carefully unpack boxes, reminding yourself what decorations you have.
3. Trip over unpacked decorations for a few days.
4. Become motivated to decorate and put the boxes away for a few weeks.
5. Enjoy!
Here are some photos that tell the story of our home's Decornado that touched down and took all four (or five, with the dog) of us by storm ... (note: if you want to see the photos as a slideshow, look at the first one for a few seconds and then scroll down and repeat. tee hee!)

The Riblet is really happy to see this large, shiny ornament.

If no one has yet this year, let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Your photos are wonderful. :)
Eccentricity is an endearing quality in a photographer. The quirkier the artist, the better the picture, I say!
Those are some pretty damn cute kids you've got there.
Merry Christmas!
Ever since we got a dog we haven't taken out our tree for fear that the dog would choke and die on 1) pieces of the true, 2) decorations, 3) pieces of the decorations on the floor that have fallen due to dog trying to climb the tree.
Which sucks, really, because I love the way the tree looks all lit up and colourful.
How cute!! I put up my tree tonight, too. Wishing you a Merry Christmas as well.
hey Merry Christmas to you too. Hope you get all the camera accessories you desire.
your boys are so adorable and the look on Dog's face is so 'i'm so over all this,' it cracks me up!
merry christmas and happy birthday to the boys!
