I think I saw Chaka Khan at Kroger the other day. It was kind of hard to tell, though, because I was blinded by the woman's glittering mumu and the shopping cart blocked part of her. I'm kind of doubting she moved to Texas, but you never know. We've got lots of famous people around here. If it was her, let me say delicately, she's let herself go.
She doesn't look like this anymore. Or maybe she does, but the secret shopper is actually somebody else. If it is her, let me say I Feel For You.
In other news:
• Don't eat your spinach.
• The Cutlet is officially potty-trained (time-tested, restaurant-tested, yay!)
• About three months until Kiddo No. 2 "arrives"
• We have agreed on a name for Kiddo No. 2
• There will be a public election in this space to determine Kiddo No. 2's Internet moniker
• We have to come up with roughly a month's worth of the Petite Filet's salary while she's on maternity leave (yay!)
• My laptop really rocks

Boy, that's going back a few years.

Let me add my congrats on the potty training, with a note to not be too surprised if you have a smidge of a backslide when #2 arrives (no pun intended). It'll be an adjustment for the cutlet. I didn't have the problem when my second one came along as the first was still in diapers (at 18 months)...::sigh::
I nominate "the nugget" as Kiddo 2.0's moniker.

I always thought it was dumb that "I Feel for You" had a guy who kept saying "Chaka Khan" during the song. That's like the band "Big Country" whose one and only hit was a song called "Big Country."
What was she buying? Just curious. :)
