There's some blog "spring cleaning" I need to do, particularly in my list of favorites (see "innards" at left). Not only are some of those links long-inactive, but I never added the sites of some of the wonderful people who often stop by. The whole point (other than serving as an outlet to write a bunch of nonsense) is to build a little community here. That's why as long as I have a blog it will be really easy to comment (for spammers, too), and a lot of times I'll respond to comments via e-mail. We are people! Let us be friends, virtual friends or maybe just virtually friendly. Whuh-tevah.
So, in the tradition of "De-Lurking Days" across blogdom, I ask that you leave some kind of comment here, just so I know who you are. If you've got a blog, please include the URL. I usually recip-ro-link, mainly so it's easy for me to find your site when I'm in reading mode. I know my traffic is down here from the Salad Days of having a boring job and practically blogging all day. But it's never been about quantity, it's quality. And I'm always pleased that such great people take a few moments from the day to leave a nugget of wisdom or criticism.
Happy "Leave a Comment for T-bone Day." Here's a few topics if you need a nudge: how did you find Texas T-bone? Why did you start blogging? When's the last time you went to the circus?

lets see...I found you through Jet, started hosting your blog to get you away from that horrible blogspot, and have been reading ever since.
(btw, you may not realize, but even though the spammers do get through...more often than I'd like them to...I do my best to weed them all out so those comments don't stick around :-)
My list is also hopelessly out of date. One of these days, I'm going to do something about that.
I've been blogging for about 3 1/2 years, and have stopped by to say hello to you many times.
Have a great day.
1. I found you in the meat department.
2. Boredom.
3. I live in a circus.
Busy Mom stole my answers.
I have no idea how I found you, but I'm glad that I did!
I can't remember if I found you or if you found me- but I think the Sassy Little Punkin had something to do with it. That was something like 3 years ago, if you can believe it!
Even though I gave up on the blogging world- I'll probably always come by and check in on you.
(oh and p.s- I don't think I've ever been to the circus- though it feels my life as of late has become one!)
I'm a rotten commentor, but a great lurker. I'm still here, blogging away, running a writing site, and in general, being a pest when it suits me. Oh yeah, and I'm just waiting for the appearance of the "new addition".
I'm a faithful lurker, occasional commenter, but not a blogger. Many, but not all, of the blogs I read are by journalists or about journalism. I do appreciate the "community" and network aspect of blogs. In fact one of my offspring is thinking about looking for jobs in the DFW area after graduation next spring (she's getting a degree in education). Any ideas?
I so suck at the blog thing these days. And i've been home computerless for a few months so I haven't been surfing around at all. You still have me up there but you should really take me down. Unless of course you want to make me feel a little special.
How's that?
:)
I can't remember. LOL
1. I found you a bajillion years ago from Sassy Little Pumpkin's site.
2. I started blogging from work boredom too, but I love the sense of community I feel here.
3.) I can't even remember. Obviously it's been way too long!
You have inspired me to update my own list (and have consequently included you!) with your virtual blog cleaning.
1) Found you through "Tales of a Soccer Mom/Sex Kitten", though Marci's too busy to blog much these days.
2) Started blogging mostly because I like to write, needed a place to vent, and because my sig oth and his cronies were nagging the bejebus out of me!
3) Took my oldest two to the circus when they were about 6 & 7, so I guess that's about ten years ago. Damn. How could that be? My youngest has a pass to the Ringling Brothers that never expires (along with a lifetime Harlem Globetrotters pass) because she was a millenium baby. She's finally getting to the age where I should check their tour schedule (the circus...not so much the Globetrotters) and make some plans to go again!
It's hard for me to keep up with the blog inthe summer, too many hours spent outside, and not enough time indoors by the computer. Nonetheless, I keep up with the life of TBone, and a few others when I can. Since I've recently had a good house cleaning on my own blog, no need for inspiration, though I am making an effort to keep up better. Thanks
let's see...i found you what seems like long ago and was pretty regular here and then I fell off the map a bit and was recently pleasantly surprised to see that Amy had you blogrolled...so here I am, stopping in again.
oh, and I haven't been to the circus since I took my little sister, about 20 years ago.
Hi T-bone (my second favorite cut of meat btw)
I can't remember how I found you, I've been reading your blog for a couple of years though.
The last time I went to the circus was in 1998 in Huntsville AL
I don't remember how I found you. I don't blog, i just read. And I visited the circus, about three years ago. I read what I like. And as a lurker, I do appreciate a response every now and then. And actually, I've had some pretty decent conversations via email because of a comment left on a blog. Like... PC's vs. MAC's ::wink::
I don't remember how I found you. A link from someone I'm sure.
I started to blog as a way to keep my family and friends up dated on what was happening in my life.
I think it's been something like 20 years or more since I last went to the circus.
I THINK I found you through The Fat Guy, Scott Chaffin?
Been about 3 years and I'm enjoying it every day!
T-Bone is prime cut blogging!
I don't remember how I found you.
I started blogging to vent my frustrations, but have sense grown tired of typing the same thing over and over.
I can't remember when I last went to the circus, but I would guess it was sometime between 25 & 30 years ago.
I know you are probably completely shocked to see a comment from me since I haven't been to hardly anyone's blog in months (much less left any comments), but I was bored this AM and figured I'd check out the cyber places I used to dwell.
I can't remember how I found you, I checked out the "Innards" to try to figure it out, thb maybe? It was quite some time ago. I finally added you to my blogroll a couple months ago.
I started blogging in law school, a couple years ago. At this moment I am supposed to be "lawyering", but am blog reading instead.
I hate when people don't de-lurk, so here I am!
I stop by fairly often. Found you through "A Girl and A Boy." Your comments there and here always entertain. -- You seem to be the voice of reason.
