Millions of visitors travel to San Antonio, Texas, to see the famous Alamo. I am quite certain we fall into a lesser-known and rarer group of tourists ... those who bring along their own breakfast cereal.
Thousands of visitors ride the little train at Brackenridge Park near the San Antonio Zoo. I am quite certain the toy trains are placed inside – where you buy tickets to ride – at eye level for a reason. Felt less like a sucker, however, when one of the engineer dudes (had to be dragging 80) said he bought one just like it five years ago.
I have a few other pics, but they are on film (remember film?) and have yet to be developed.

I'm reading your SA trip stories, and dude, I wish you would have told me y'all were planning on going to Corpus. But you had to learn the hard way.
I'm thinking General Mills would pay you for that pic. You should send their advertising department a little note. A whole campaign around taking Cheerios with you on vacation and the accompanying vacation pics with the box prominently displayed in the shot.
Show T-Bone the money!!!
Yes I remember film. To this day, all of my "professional" pics are taken with my 35mm camera. You are not alone.
You have a beautiful family! I'm going to keep that Cheerios trick in my for when/if we have kids. Your son seems so excited by them!
He looks more psyched by the cheerios than anything else! classic!
Yes, indeedy, General Mills should know about this one! So many good quip ops, too! Besides the Cutlet's cherubic face was just made for TV.
Our recent Big Bend trip included both digital camera as well as the old reliable Canon AE 35 mm. I puffed with camera snobbery when the clerk at Wolf's Cameras exclaimed surprise over my order of slide prints taken on Fuji Velvia Film. Haven't gotten them back yet, but I am hoping at least a few are good.
how did you like san antonio? i moved from there a while back to follow my job here. glad i did too. did you notice how much slower people there drive?
