Takin' Care of Business!

Good grief! Have you ever had one of those days when you get a whole lot of stuff done? In light of how much else we have to do, it's but a drop in quite a large bucket. But progress is bliss! The following list also does not include other things we got done during the weekend. This accounts only for Monday:

1. Me and the Petite Filet both went in for eye exams.
2. We got the plumbers to come on out and gaze at our fussy toilet and a tub-drain leak.
3. Me and the Petite Filet both got new glasses (I just got replacement lenses).
4. I helped a buddy load up his truck with some of that mulch that resulted from chipping wood all day a week ago.
5. We looked at sandboxes for the Cutlet. Toys R Us didn't have the one we liked in stock, but we're poised to pounce on the next shipment.
6. I chopped up and disposed of some of the lingering tree limbs that I had neither energy nor daylight enough to run through the wood chipper.
7. Took the dog to the groomer. She is now the most hairless long-hair Border collie on Earth.
8. Climbed Everest.
9. Folded some laundry.
10. Watched part of the Miss USA pageant ... another two hours of my life – gone!

I'll try to post a picture this week of the Cutlet's first Easter-egg hunt. Our balmy 80-degree weather was gone on Sunday, so it was a frantic egg toss and run to the car to escape the cloudy, blustery, drizzly 50-degree climate. We got some good pictures, and then I had to eat all the candy. It's so tough being a daddy!

What's up with you?

wow! You got a lot done for sure! I can't remember when Iw as last that productive!
Have a good one!

We mostly accomplished eating, but just wanted to chime in that we have a Border Collie, too!

I got an amazing amount of stuff done yesterday, too - must have been that kind of a day.

My son no longer believes in the Easter Bunny, but he still likes to do the Easter egg thing. So, before he goes to bed, he leaves explicit instructions on what would be acceptable and unacceptable egg hiding places.

much less than is up with you...for sure!

i think your list is my list. they look identical. i just gave ol' stevi dog a hair cut too. only...i do the cuttin'. she doesn't like strangers messing with her hair. she doesn't really like me messing with her hair either...but if i don't she will turn into one big hair/rat ball.

i watched the miss usa pageant too. yeah missouri!! that's how we all look here in missouri.

I believe all but the Everest part.

And hurry with those Easter pictures. I love to see little kid pictures.

Echoing Yeah! Missouri!

I quit watching beauty pageants a long time ago because it seemed that Miss Missouri never won. Guess I was just wrong time wrong place. Congrats on all the accomplishments:)

hey I climbed Mt Everst on Tuesday... lol

Wow, you climbed Mount Everest? Did you use a Sherpa guide or do the self-guided tour with the Lonely Planet guidebook?
