Like Crap on a Cracker

| | Comments (10)

Normally, I don't like to post about when I feel like poo, but here I am doing so now. Something hit me about mid-morning yesterday, knocking me on my rear and sending me home early. I got about zero sleep last night; my mind raced a thousand races and I woke up achy and irritable.

So I am in a foggy haze today. The bright side, and something that has made me feel oh so much better?

There was a brand-new Canon Digital Rebel SLR camera sitting on my desk, with separate flash, vertical grip, three lithium batteries and a 1 GB memory card with reader. Also, there's a cool tripping black camera bag to go with it all.

Have I told you how much I love my job? As mentioned below, we got a police scanner in the office quite easily. The camera rocks, much harder than the old Nikon digital camera we were using. Most often, I'd use my Canon film camera just to escape the stupidness of the old digicam.

I'm allowed to look for another reporter, and we may also get a new computer. I tell you what, I'm not used to getting the tools and technology it takes to get my job done. It is really weird.

You love your job?! Whoa! I love your job just hearing about it!

Hire me! Hire me! I bring forth promises of:
(1) A Canadian oar and
(2) Would take many Cutlet/PF/TTB family shots for you.

[ Hope you feel better soon! ]

Wishing you health and happiness, you lucky, lucky man!

I bet they're a really great company. You know what would really prove what an amazing company they are? If they gave *me* a digital rebel too.

I mean while they're feeling so generous.

Enjoy and feel better!

Hi Stranger!!! I can understand about the hitting you out of the blue, speedbump and I have the same thing going on this weekend...uugghh.....btw we are moving closer to your neck of the woods...we'll all have to get together soon. Hope to talk to you soon!!!

Crap on a Cracker, mmm, nice image. hehe Hope you are feeling better.

Enjoy that new camera! My Nikon 990 is still serving me well. And if I need prints, it's off to Costco.

Feel better!!

I just had a photo session for my "professional portraits" and the photographer used a digital. It was an interesting experience to see your pics immediately!

Something like SOS? Crap on a cracker? Too good, Sir.

To love a job is the best, given how much time and energy you have to devote to the thing. I am envious.

remember when popsickles made you feel better? =]

Feel better! And rock that Rebel like there's no tomorrow. I'm soooo jealous!
