T-Bone's Dinner Project Cookbook

| | Comments (17)

For you bloggers-come-lately, you have no idea what the Dinner Project is, so I'll give you a little history ...

Some time ago, I solicited dinner recipes under the guise of a contest. Many who read this blog at the time responded, and the competition was fierce. But it came down to one recipe submitted by Kelly. In the meantime, I promised to send her a prize (um, which I'm still about to do), and compile the recipes and share them with the world.

After many months of sitting idle, I did the last few things I needed to do to T-Bone's Dinner Project Cookbook. Now it's here for you to download as a PDF.

Most computers have a program that will read and allow you to print PDF files. If yours is one of the rare few that won't, try this site, which has a free download of the most-popular PDF reader. I can also e-mail PDFs to those who prefer that mode of delivery, but you can see my track record on follow-through with this project is not good. Not good at all.

Grab hold of this text and drag it to your desktop (or right click for you PC'ers)!

Note: if you simply click on the link, it will give you a bunch of nonsense.

Happy cooking! Happier eating! Yippee!

Looks Great! Thanks!

I have Adobe but it's still giving me a bunch of gobbelygoo, can you email it to me?

Didn't work for this PC user either. :(

The reason that it opens up as gobbledy-gook is that it saves as a text file. If you force the file to open in Acrobat, it works fine. And it is very nicely laid out! I'm impressed, T!

I gather from your comments that you use a MAC? And you didn't use Acrobat to make this file? I ask because I think the reason PC people (and possible others) is that the file should be saved with a .pdf extension so that it will default open with Acrobat.

whooo hooo!

Wow! That is really cool! I'm completely impressed! Thanks!

I've been stopping by, but having nothing witty to say. Good keeping up with you.

Hey- I've been waiting for this! I'm about to check it out, and it's going to make me hungry!

i can't open it either!

For PC users--if you right click on the link and click "save target as", you can retype the file name to Dinner_project.pdf instead of .txt. Then you can open the file in adobe.

It worked for me! :)

That's so awesome. I only wish I had contributed something...you should put out a second edition sometime.

Thanks T-bone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to put all of this together. I love all of the quotes, and I look forward to reading over the recipes tonight.

Great job, T-Bone! Imagine my surprise when I found the image was the one I used for my Christmas cookbook this year. Great minds......

I can't wait to try the recipes. Thanks!

T-bone, you *rock*. Now I might actually learn to cook something other than spaghetti!

What a great job......it open with ease and is very easy to read ..well done T BONE!!!!
(must also say its nice to see pc's listed as an after thought instead of us mac users)

Nice going! Awwww... I missed submitting. Guess that's my tough luck from having too many interests!
