Irregardless of how one feels about the immigration debate (I have mixed feelings; there is no one-size-fits-all solution), but here in one of the front lines of the debate, Phoenicians did themselves proud.
Phoenix had a large turnout of 125,000 people, the largest march we've ever had (even larger than the ones during the Evan Mechan/MLK Day years), and in spite of this being hot button issue here, and with the exception of traffic congestion, the event came off peacefully and well organized.
